Air Greenland is the flag carrier airline of Greenland. Red is our brand color and should always be the dominant color of our productions. Our fleat is all red – it is easy recognizable and looks great flying over the white ice cape and the dark blue sea. Hence our brand colors are red, white and cool calm colors resembling the ice and the sea.
The brandcolor is naturally used to cover large sender areas, like backpages of print material and header areas in online productions. It is also typically used as both background color of highlight boxes.
Sometimes, it shows necessary to use the red in other tints to create a small contrast between two red areas. Never lighten so that it appears rose or pink! And only ever nudge the color, when the original tone is also present.
When more Pantone-reds are needed next to one another, PLEASE USE Pantone 186 and Pantone 188 for secondary reds.
The grey colors and the off black are typically used for backgrounds – see below.
If you use the gray for illustrations on a lighter background, it depends on the background and situation, which strenght of grey will be right. Is the background white, off white or beige? How strong do you wish for the illustration to stand out? As a guide, please try NOT to make the contrast too hard. Aim for a feeling of structure.
The turquise is used for links and buttons and smaller highlight areas in online productions. It is also used as backgrounds on our maps.
This color MAY NEVER be used s a general background or be too dominant in our productions. Our brand is light, hence the overall look may not be overall dark and exclusive – but is light, embracing and welcoming. Red planes over white snow.
Variants other than 100% of this color MAY ONLY EVER be used in the Club Timmisa universe.
Please be aware that the dark colors never dominates the overall impression of the product!
The grey colors and the northern blue are typically used for backgrounds, as variation to the whites. You may use both darker and lighter tints of the the cool greys, but make sure there is consistency through-out the product! Preferably, use the lighter tints with darker texts for backgrounds.
